Young hockey players were in for a real treat on Monday at the Assiniboia West Community Club. As they were coming up to get their pancake breakfast, they found Wyatt Kemball and Dylan Reinheimer serving them their food. The young players were extremely excited to see the Canuck players and many took the time to come over and say hi. “One girl came up to me and said that she had carried the flag for us this season.” Rookie Wyatt Kemball explained. “She was really nervous that game so I gave her a fist pump and told her she was doing great. She came up (Monday) to thank me for that, it made my day.” Hundreds of young hockey players are taking to the ice this week at the Assiniboia West Community Club. The games started Monday and run throughout the week.
