The St. James Jr. Canucks have acquired forward Jaxon Blight from the Stonewall Jets for a pair of prospects and future considerations.
Blight is in his second year with the Jets, and has 9 goals and 17 points in 23 games. He has also spent time with the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Yorkton Terriers and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s OCN Blizzard.
In exchange for Blight, the Canucks have traded the rights to prospects Aric Gurdibaniuk (Defence – Sturgeon Heights Huskies), Easton Lewicki (Forward – Sturgeon Heights Huskies), and future considerations.
